Using purple in your flowers

Purple flowers are a popular and versatile choice for weddings. It goes with almost every color and can be used with other colors to create the perfect wedding color palette. A variety of flowers in shades of purple can be used to create texture or one single shade of a flower can be used to create an impact. For example shades of purple can be mixed with one or more of the following: yellow, pink, green, black, red. Flower choices in purple are many; iris, mini calla lily, roses (lavender), stock, freesia, mums, delphinium, larkspur, hydrangea, orchids, lisianthus and sweet peas. Purple flowers can also be used at any time of the year, try lavender with yellow or pink for a spring wedding or a deep eggplant for the winter or late fall.
